Rachel is the Managing Partner and a Co-Founder of the Kentucky Student Voice Team. Rachel previously worked at the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence for sixteen years, where she joined the staff as Development Director in 2004 before becoming the founding director of the Student Voice Team in 2012.


She has 30 years of experience as a high school teacher and youth development leader in Massachusetts, New York, Florida, and Kentucky. In the course of this work, she has spearheaded a number of ventures to amplify and elevate student voice on education policy issues, including ones that garnered George Foster Peabody and Emmy Awards. Rachel is a graduate of Harvard College with an MAT from the University of Rochester.
