Andrew Brennen (he/him) is a senior advisor and co-founder of the Kentucky Student Voice Team. He previously served as Student Director, during which he led the successful #PowerballPromise campaign that restored $14 million for low-income student scholarships in 2016. Andrew is now a National Geographic Explorer and Education Fellow supporting youth led movements and organizations around the globe.


Andrew has held communications and strategy positions in a number of organizations, including the Obama Foundation, McKinsey & Company, and Hattaway Communications. Andrew graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in political science and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Education Policy and Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
