Arivumani Srivastava

Legislative Coordinator

Arivumani Srivastava (he/him) is the Legislative Coordinator for the Kentucky Student Voice Team. He joined the team during his junior year of high school and has since engaged in all things law and policy in KSVT. He worked on lobbying efforts for numerous bills, including the Save Our Seats campaign surrounding HB178 and school choice in HB563. He authored op-eds for these and other topics, such as the Supreme Court case Mahanoy v. B.L. which have been published in the Louisville Courier-Journal and Lexington Herald-Leader, among others. He is currently engaged in KSVT’s American Rescue Plan Project, Save Our Seats, and their intersection as it applies to the legislative session.


Outside of KSVT, he serves on the Commissioner’s Student Advisory Council and researches road safety and healthcare infrastructure public policy in The Gambia.


Arivumani is a senior at The Gatton Academy and Greenwood High School in Bowling Green.
