Spandana Pavuluri

Coping With COVID-19 Research Coordinator

Spandana Pavuluri (she/her) is the Coping With COVID-19 Research Coordinator for the Kentucky Student Voice Team. She joined the Kentucky Student Voice Team during May of her freshman year, and hit the ground running as a student researcher in the COVID-19 Study. Spandana has primarily been involved with qualitative work and presentations on the research side and has been a project lead in conducting peer-to-peer interviews. Additionally, she was involved in the Intergen-9 group for the Prichard Committee, which utilized intergenerational collaboration to lead a study aimed at the parent, teacher, and administrator experiences during COVID-19. Spandana dabbles in other parts of KSVT, including climate audit work, ed justice workshops, report writing, among others, and has thoroughly enjoyed learning how to use her voice and how to uplift the voices of others.

Outside of the student voice team, Spandana is involved with YMCA conferences, STEMY (STEM+Youth), and Best Buddies! She is currently a junior at duPont Manual High School in Louisville.
