After seeing the impact our school climate audits and our Central Kentucky safety survey had on education conversations across the state, our team wanted to further support student-led research.
We created the research fellowship to support two student groups conducting original education research. By bringing in social science research experts from Centre College and the University of Kentucky, we hoped to lead research more robust than ever before. A $50,000 grant from Pathway 2 Tomorrow helped bolster our efforts.
Though the COVID-19 pandemic threw a wrench into our plans, we continue to support the development of projects led by students from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School and the Craft Academy at Morehead State University.
